One day letterpress printing workshops are now being offered in the "Mark Twain Room" in the Historic Fourth Ward School Museum in Virginia City.
Learn the basics of the 550+ year old art and craft of Letterpress Printing from Steve Robison an experienced letterpress printer.
Be able to walk away with a special hand printed piece to share with your friends and family and then if you're really hooked schedule a time later to come back (at no cost!) to create and print other letterpress projects of your choosing with guidance from Steve!
We'd love if you came with a favorite quote that you'd like to print.
We ask that you bring a favorite quote to set in type (we'll supply the type!).
The workshop fee is $25 for nonmembers $20 for Fourth Ward School Museum members for one of the Saturday Workshops listed below.
Two workshop times are available:
(10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.) or (1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
