ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Join local writer Elizabeth Gaglio for a relaxing afternoon of writing letters.
In our digital age, taking time to slow down and write to a loved one has become a rare activity. Yet the delight of recieving a personal letter is likely greater than ever. It’s a small act that is meaningful for both the writer and the recipient.
This workshop will give you the time and inspiration to write that letter you’ve been meaning to send. Materials and refreshments provided. All are welcome - come solo or bring a friend.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Introduction to writing and mailing letters in our digital age
- Creative ideas for things to send
- Quiet writing time
- Stationary and envelopes provided (but feel free to bring your own)
- Plenty of coffee, tea and cake
