This lighthearted yet informative experience will explore the majestic wild turkey as seen through the eyes of renowned artists and illustrators represented in Mrs. Poe’s collection. You’ll hear fun facts about our native wild turkey and gain a deeper appreciation for the role turkeys have played in the sporting traditions of the Red Hills region.
As a bonus, this tour takes you behind the ropes, offering a closer look at selected pieces and objects not usually explored in our regular tours. Discover why this regal bird has captivated hunters, artists, and naturalists alike for over a century.
