About this Event
Join us for a heart-to-heart conversation about neurodiversity, hosted by the Mindera Foundation. This event is about understanding and embracing the unique ways our minds work and how those differences make us who we are as humans.
We’re bringing together two incredible speakers who will walk us through the world of neurodiversity, offering insights that can change how we see ourselves and each other.
Session 1: Unpacking Neurodiversity - with Raluca Petrice
What exactly is neurodiversity? In this interactive workshop, we’ll dive into the many facets of how people experience the world differently. Using real-life stories and examples, we’ll explore how variations in cognitive processing and executive functioning can be understood from a strengths-based perspective. Is neurodiversity a gift or a challenge? It’s all about how we choose to see it—and this session will help you see it in a whole new light.
Session 2: The Promises and Pitfalls of Neurodiversity in Modern Organizations - with Prof. dr. Petru L. Curșeu
Workplaces are becoming more diverse, but are they truly inclusive? This talk will explore the double-edged sword of neurodiversity in today’s organizations. On one hand, neurodivergent employees often face marginalization. On the other hand, they bring fresh perspectives and innovative problem-solving skills that can give any team a competitive edge. Drawing from two large-scale studies, we’ll discuss the impact of neurodiversity on both individuals and teams, and how creating supportive networks can foster a more inclusive workplace—and society.
This event is dedicated to anyone who cares about understanding and embracing what makes us all different, yet connected.
Let’s come together to explore how our differences make us stronger, learn and celebrate the beauty of #BeingHuman.
We hope to see you there!
