About this event
March is National Kidney Month. Rates of kidney disease in the Black population are higher than rates in other groups. The Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter and Los Angeles (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated are collaborating to raise awareness in the Black community about chronic kidney disease (CKD). Our goal is to reduce the risk of kidney failure in our community and improve outcomes for Black people living with CKD.
Let's Talk Kidney Care! You will learn about chronic kidney disease and how to prevent it or slow the progression if you already have CKD.
