Let's Talk Food: Overcoming Emotional Eating

Struggling with food and emotions? You’re not alone. Let’s talk honestly and start healing our relationship with eating.
About this Event

As women, our relationship with food is often deeply personal—and deeply complicated. We celebrate with food. We cope with it. Sometimes, we fight it. But rarely do we talk about it—at least, not honestly.

Whether shaped by culture, diet culture, shame, or silence, many of us carry a quiet burden when it comes to how we eat, how we feel about food, and how we feel about ourselves. That ends here.

On October 18th, we are creating a safe, shame-free space to have real conversations, receive compassionate wisdom, and begin moving toward healing and freedom in our relationship with food.

You don’t need a cleanse. You don’t need a 10-step protocol. You need clarity.

Megan Hou is a Registered Dietitian in Quebec and Ontario and a proud member of Dietitians of Canada. She’s dedicated to helping people build a balanced, nourishing relationship with food through gentle nutrition. With an evidence-based and compassionate approach, Megan empowers individuals to embrace wellness without overwhelm—focusing on sustainable habits, not strict rules. Let’s bring ease back to eating.

In this first session of the Let’s Talk Food series, Megan will guide us in rebuilding a healthier relationship with food by addressing the challenges of emotional eating. Many of us turn to food for comfort, distraction, or stress relief—but few of us have the tools to recognize and respond to those patterns with grace.

Together, we will:

🌸 Explore the 5 W’s of emotional eating:

→ What is it?

→ When are we prone to it?

→ Why do we do it?

→ Where does it stem from?

→ Who does it affect?

🌸 Learn the difference between physical hunger and emotional hunger

🌸 Discover practical, sustainable tips to overcome emotional eating

🌸 Learn how mindful eating can help us reconnect with our body’s cues

🌸 Participate in a Q&A session to get your questions answered

🌸 Enjoy light snacks provided during the event

We are so excited about this gathering and what it will unlock for your wellness journey! We cannot wait to see you there!
