Annnd we are back!Looking forward to some great collaborations this year, and our first one is coming up in Feb:
Join us for a heartfelt afternoon of conversations about people's diverse experiences of love!
This Lekker Chats and ASK collaboration event will have two parts:
1) Volunteer Q&A. 10+ volunteers from A StrangerKind will share their personal stories within small groups and answer your questions about their unique perspectives on love - love on the spectrum, in gang communities, with depression, through organ donation and more! You can ask them
ANYTHING. No question is off-limits.
2) Group Discussion. In our normal Lekker Chats format, we'll break into groups of ~5 people and provide question prompts to spark meaningful reflection and dialogue with fellow curious, open-minded humans.
In total, you'll have an opportunity to sit with 2 volunteers (30min each) and participate in 2 group discussions (30min each). The rest of the time is designated for socializing, and we have a few surprises planned to help facilitate connection and good vibes ✨
Note: while we consciously chose this theme for Valentine's weekend, this event is not just about cupid 💘 We mean "love" in its full glory: self-love, platonic love, parental love, romantic love, universal love, etc. 💗
Will there be a bar? Yes.
Will there be music? Yes!
Will there be a unicorn? Possibly 🦄

p.s. Our max capacity is 100 people, so we're charging R50 to secure your spot. All proceeds will be donated to charity. If you want to come, but can't spare R50, contact the organizers and we'll remove that obstacle for you.
