Large companies are setting ambitious sustainability goals and requiring their suppliers to provide data on environmental impacts and emissions. Global regulations, like those in the EU and U.S., are becoming stricter, and even if you aren’t directly affected, your customers will expect you to comply. In Canada, the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board (CSSB) is developing standards that will soon apply to public companies, and these could eventually extend to private businesses.

Getting ahead of these rules will help businesses stay competitive, win contracts, and even secure financing as investors increasingly prioritize sustainability.
