About this Event
In our mission to challenge stigma & prejudice to create a fairer world, we’re collaborating with the Volunteer Centre from Chelsea & Kensington to hear about the barriers to employment for young adults with learning disabilities and who find themselves on the autism spectrum.
From this event, you can expect to learn about how people have been excluded from employment due to their differences, and ways to advocate for yourself that ensures your accessibility to equal opportunities.
We'll be hearing from professional Ruth Daniel, an Employment Support Officer, who provides compassionate assistance to individuals navigating barriers to volunteering, employment, and independent living. Ruth delivers high-quality support, aiding clients in achieving tangible improvements in their lives, particularly in transitioning from unemployment to volunteering or paid employment.
If you, or someone you know, may be affected by this and want to learn about accessibility in the workplace, and outside of it, to ensure you have equal opportunities to succeed at work, this is the event for you – register today.
Please be aware that there will be live photography at this event. If you are coming with a young person (under the age of 18) and would like for them not to be captured at any point, please mention this under the "further comments" section when placing your order.
