Welcome to the Let's Stay Together Family Conference! Join us on Sat, September 13th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the CareOregon Boys & Girls Club for a day of fun, learning, and connecting with others in your community. This event is all about strengthening family relationships. Come participate in interactive workshops, engaging activities, and insightful discussions. We'll have light refreshments as well. Family Compass: Values, Vision & Focus for the Year Ahead
A new school year presents both pressure and opportunity. This one-hour interactive workshop helps parents and caregivers reconnect with family priorities through reflection and conversation. Participants will set meaningful family goals and leave with a renewed sense of purpose and aligned objectives for the upcoming months.
Connecting with your Kids
In this session, you’ll learn how to deepen your relationship and connection with your child. Although many of these tips work best for ages 2-11, they can certainly be applied to older children (and even adults!). Maintaining the bonds of love and communicating through the tough stuff are some of the foundational building blocks to connecting to your child.
Loving Amid Adverstiy
Join this dynamic couple as they guide you through the art of loving one another in challenging times. Whether you are newlyweds or celebrating decades together, Anthony and Donita's workshop will inspire you, provide practical ways to remain connected in your relationship.
Unpacking the values of ‘tough love’ and ‘respect’ on the parent-child relationship
This interactive workshop will explore the values of 'tough love' and 'respect' in Black families, examining their historical origins and effects on parent-child relationships. It will cover communication, trust, stability, and child development, allowing participants to reflect on their own practices and discuss generational differences in parenting. Alternatives to enhance responsive and empathetic caregiving will also be presented.
Co-Parenting with Grace: Finding Common Ground for the Children’s Sake
Explore strategies for effective co-parenting, focusing on communication, compromise, and collaboration between biological and stepparents.

Feeding your family comes with so many different pieces. However, making sure you’re doing so with nutrition in mind is what this session is all about! Come learn ways to crate healthy and balanced meals for your family.
