About this Event
Let's Play The Piano Newcastle have been meeting monthly since 2015 at Jesmond United Reformed Church. In 2017, we purchased our own new Kawai 6ft2 Grand Piano which is available for all attendees to play if they wish.
Our monthly sessions are a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow music lovers whether you play the piano or not. There's always an interesting mix of music each month and playing is optional. Adult players of all levels and musical styles are welcome to perform to the group. There's additional time in the hour prior to the 2.30pm start for people who'd like to play without worrying about an audience! There are also two digital pianos with headphones that people can practice on along with a second grand pianos.
Maybe you're thinking of learning the piano and would like to find out more! The group is friendly and appeals to all ages and backgrounds. It's a lot of fun!
If you would like to perform, you can just let us know when you arrive on the day or message the organiser (Ben) in advance and we'll be sure to fit you in the programme.
Tea, coffee and cake are included in the entry price.
