About this Event
Participants will ride or walk on a designated route along the Towpath Trail starting and ending at Summit Lake Community Center.
Riders will depart first in groups of 10 every 15 minutes (between 8:00 -9:45 a.m.), followed by walkers in groups of 10 every 10 minutes (11:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.) The bike course will take riders from Summit Lake to Nesmith Lake and back (approximately 6 miles). The walk will be a 2.21 mile route around Summit Lake.
Due to Covid-19 Health and Safety protocols this will be a limited contactless event. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. A maximum capacity of 80 riders and 120 walkers will be allowed to participate at designated start times in groups of 10 led by event volunteers.
A limited number of bikes and helmets will be available to rent for the course with an ID security deposit. All cyclists participating in this event must wear a helmet.
All participants will receive a free t-shirt, sport-pack bag at check-in and a light pre-packaged lunch at the conclusion of the event.
Riders and Walkers may check in 15 minutes prior to their start times. Temperature checks and waivers must be completed prior to participation.
