About this Event
The Let's Get Moving Melton Awards Ceremony is taking place Friday 24 January, 6pm until 10pm at The Banqueting Suite, Stockyard, Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1JY.
The event recognises sporting successes and active lifestyle advocates across the Melton borough. Following the closure of the nominations, an independent panel will review and create a shortlist of nominees, which will be up for the following awards on the night:
Children and Young People Awards:
- Let's Get Moving School Award
- Primary School Team of the Year
- Secondary School Team of the Year
- Junior Team of the Year
- Junior Club of the Year
- Junior Sportsperson of the Year
- Let's Get Moving Young Hero Award
Adult Awards:
- Team of the Year
- Group/Club of the Year
- Melton Inclusive Sport Physical Activity (MISPA) Person of the Year
- Sportsperson of the Year
- Active Mums Club Award
- Let's Get Moving for Health Award
- Let's Get Moving Hero Award
- Let’s Get Moving Outstanding Contribution Award
The dress code for the event is smart-casual. There will be seating available with a buffet provided in the interval between Children and Young People Awards and Adults awards.
The bar will be open at the back of the suite for drink purchases.
Parking will be available at Gate 8, Melton Mowbray Market, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray, LE13 0NP (Next to the Fire Station).
