Spring is just around the corner! Join us as Jessalyn Mehkram, the Earth Liaison, shares with us her tips on designing a native garden. In this workshop, participants will gain a better understanding of what goes into planning a native garden and how to go about it with simplicity and ease. Jessalyn will cover a straightforward basic timeline of the process, from a quick hands-on observation of the space to selecting plants based on aesthetic choice, wants, and habitat. Planting and maintenance will also be covered. Jessalyn wants to make it as easy as possible so everyone can leave the workshop feeling empowered to get their garden started.
Following the indoors workshop, Jessalyn will lead us on an interactive plant walk in the Front Yard gardens, rain or shine.
