Kidney Walks are a free, family-friendly event, open to all ages. By taking part and fundraising for Kidney Walk, you will help support the kidney and transplant community through programming, research and short-term financial assistance. Together, let's make a difference together for our kidney community.
Kidney Walk is our largest nation-wide community fundraiser to support The Kidney Foundation’s vital research and patient support programs, and it’s all thanks to the strength of our amazing community who sign up to support us year after year.
We're kicking off Kidney Walk in Southern Alberta with Early Bird Prizes!
To be eligible to enter, simply register for Kidney Walk in Lethbridge or Medicine Hat by midnight on May 1, 2024. You will automatically be entered into our early bird prize draw. Prizes will be drawn on Thursday, May 2, 2024 and winners will be notified by either email or phone.
Registered Kidney Walk participants will have the opportunity to:
Receive a Kidney Walk t-shirt by raising $100 or more
Join our Kidney Walk Champion’s Club by raising $1000 or more*
* Members of the Kidney Walk Champions Club must have $1000 of individual fundraising credited to their personal page. Team fundraising totals do not apply to individual goals.

Distances: One lap around the lake is 3 km and two laps is 6 km.
Start location will be at the Henderson Lake, Horseshoe Pits
