Let There Be Rock Fest 2024

Let There Be Rock Fest Returns with an amazing Line-up for 2024. Featuring Jimmies Chicken Shack, Stones Horses, The Blues Vultures, LTBRSFrederick, Generations Apart, and a ton of local student bands in support of the Rhythm Changes Nonprofit. We are thrilled to have the event in Frederick at Amvets Post #2 "The Farm." This is an all ages event featuring killer music food and drink for all. All proceeds will be benefiting the Rhythm Changes scholorship program which funds a variety of student music programs in maryland.

Jimmies Chicken Shack

Jimmies Chicken Shack is an American alternative rock band

from Annapolis, Maryland. They emerged through MTV as one of the

first post-grunge bands of the era. Blending funk-metal with elements

of ska and reggae while also demonstrating surprising acoustic

prowess, lead vocalist Jimi Haha grew up in Maryland where he

played with the group Ten Times Big. After that band broke up, he

snowboarded for two years before beginning several acoustic jams

with friends. These coalesced into Jimmies Chicken Shack. Based in

Annapolis, MD, the group formed their own Fowl Records, which

became a nexus for the leading bands in the tri-state area. After

selling tens of thousands of records, Jimmies Chicken Shack signed

to Elton John's Rocket Records and released two major-label

albums, Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope and Bring Your Own Stereo.

Both albums enjoyed chart, radio, and MTV success and produced

their best known hits “High” and “Do Right.” The band subsequently

released two more albums Re.Present and Fail on Cue independently.

The band has been a fixture on the touring circuit and is renowned for

its high energy live performances.

Stone Horses

Stone Horses is a 4 peice rock band from the great state of Maryland. Featuring John Allen- Vocals, Ted Merrill- Guitar, Dylan Howes- Bass, Jason Heiser- Drums. Check out their newest single, "Free" on all streaming platforms.

Blues Vultures

Featuring Ronnie Younkins of KIX, Blues Vultures are a Rock band that kicks it into High gear. From classic covers to raw originals, they cover a ton of ground musically.

GATWICK

GATWICK is a 3 Peice hard rock/metal band out of frederick. Check out their songs "Clay Bodies" and "Bones" on all streaming platforms.

Generations Apart

Generations Apart are a Hard Rock cover band hitting songs from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Collective Soul. They now a ton of songs so send your requests in while you can.

LTBRS Frederick

Rhythm Changes Nonprofit

Rhythm Changes is a local Md. Nonprofit that aids in Music programs around the state. Rhythm Changes offers scholorships to students and provides the equipment needed to pull off Live concerts Featuring students. Rhythm Changes student bands, Indescision, The Unknown, Sushi Monkee, and Rage Kage will be performing onstage to kick things off. *This event is All ages, Food and Beverages will be onsite available for purchase. Seating, pavillion & playground access will be granted. Dogs and Lawn Chairs will be allowed entry.
