Roll up, Hull! The circus is coming back to town.Fresh off the back of opening for Queens of the Stone Age and just in time to celebrate the launch of our new record ‘IV’, we’re back at Polar Bear Music Club this August.
The new songs. The old favourites. One sweaty, glorious homecoming… And you lot.
It’s all happening in the same week.
Where else would we do it?
Bringing their towering stoner riffs all the way from south Wales are Heavy On The Ride. They hosted us in Swansea a few years back for one of the wildest nights we’ve had on tour, and we’ve been itching to return the favour ever since. Fresh from sharing a stage with Alain Johannes, it feels only right to welcome them to our hometown the very same week we play with QOTSA.
Art rock upstarts Portable Memory Of are one of Hull’s youngest and most exciting new bands. They’ve already secured a footing in the city’s music scene with their wonderfully intricate and melodic songs. We’ve loved watching them develop their sound over the past year or so and can’t wait for you to see what they’ve been cooking up, too.
