Please note: This week’s Thursday Night at the Museum is taking place on a Friday in collaboration with our MLK Celebration.
Join St. Louis Symphony Orchestra IN UNISON Chorus Director Kevin McBeth and Young Artists as they present an inspiring concert that honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through the compositions of Florence Price, highlighting themes of unity and social justice. Featuring musicians from the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, this program promises a moving evening of music and storytelling that connects the past and present.
In the Grand Hall before our main-stage performance, food and drinks will be available for purchase from Amighetti’s. Visit resource tables hosted by local music- and arts-centered organizations, including the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and stop by our Historian’s Corner to learn more about how St. Louis activists fought for civil rights.
You can also create your own oil-pastel sheet music artwork. Plus, don’t forget to visit the Mill Creek: Black Metropolis exhibit!
