Let’s MEET UP for DANCING and FUN while hanging with classic country duo Jerry and Teri with the Jerry-At-Tricks Band at Southside Community Center. I‘ve known the Jerry-At-Tricks Band and danced with them every month since early 2016 at Hillyard Senior Center until covid hit. They graciously performed at the YMCA’s Silver Sneakers Senior Prom back in 2018 when I was working for the Y.
They provide the perfect music for couples dancing, foxtrot, 2-step, 10-step, cowboy chacha, polka, buckle polishing, and more. And of course we can line dance and freestyle, too!
This event is part of Southside's Thursday Night Dance Series and since I have that particular night off, I wanted to support another venue that offers live music and dancing to kids of all ages! (And yes, I used to teach line dancing at Southside way back when and this venue is dear to my heart!)
This is an all ages event, refreshments provided, just $5 entry fee and beer/wine available for purchase for $5 each.
There’s PLENTY of room for dancing.. 4100 sq foot ballroom! It’s absolutely stunning! (Please hand-carry-in the shoes you plan to dance in. We don’t want any wet spots..)
