Led by Rick and Ingrid Elam and Amanda Murphy, you'll explore the many uses, benefits, and farming practices of this beloved botanical. Learn about the 22 unique varieties of lavender cultivated in Winfield, Kansas and hear the story of how this family-run farm blossomed into a local haven.During the workshop, you'll enjoy a guided tasting of six house-made lavender simple syrups. Each offers its own twist on floral flavor, perfect for lemonade, cocktails, or your morning coffee. Each guest will take home a bottle of lavender syrup and mini lavender lotion to continue the experience at home. Botanica admission is also included. Stroll through the gardens, soak in the scent, and leave with a deeper appreciation for this extraordinary plant.
