Located in Montgomery, Alabama, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, a.k.a. the Lynching Museum, commemorates the thousands of Black victims of racial terror lynching whose names otherwise may have been lost to history forever.
Join presenter Mary Waters in the Doña Benicia Room for a visual tour of this unique institution that covers our Nation's troubled history from enslavement to Jim Crow to the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. The presentation will last approximately 75 minutes, followed by a discussion.
In the Library's Doña Benicia Room.
