Hosted by Dan McCulloughFormer Dubuque native Leslie Mitchell has worked with established comedians such as Bobcat Goldthwait, Adrienne Iapalucci, Geoffrey Asmus, Mary Mack, April Macie and Roy Wood Jr. In July of 2023, Leslie won the “Funniest Person in Iowa” Competition at the Lucky Cat Comedy Club in Cedar Rapids and in the fall of 2022, took home first place at the 21st Annual Amateur Stand Up Comedian Competition held at the legendary Jukebox Comedy Club in Peoria, IL. She has performed at the Floodwater Comedy Festival, Des Comedié Festival, Last Best Comedy Festival, Hell Yes Fest, Tower City Comedy Festival, Badgerland Comedy Festival and North Carolina Comedy Festival.
Her storytelling style continually revolves and evolves around the crazy blessings of womanhood, middle age, marriage, and whatever else suits her fancy. You can take the girl out of Dubuque, but you can’t take Dubuque out of the girl. Get ready for a fun night.
Lizzie Kirch is a social worker by day and remains boring at night. She started doing stand-up a couple years ago and it has really decimated her notebook and pen budget ever since. Her material often comes from the wide variety of jobs she's held, including hospice worker, mailman, Peace Corps Volunteer, and museum tour guide. She lives with six dogs, two cats, and zero other humans-- and is like 26% sure there's not a correlation there. More of her comedy (read: inane thoughts) can be found by searching for her by name on nearly any social media site, because she is, quite frankly, obsessed with herself.
Ben O’Connell is a stand-up comic based in Madison, Wisconsin. He performs at clubs and venues across the Midwest and has opened for comics including Jackie Kashian, Mary Mack, Yannis Pappas, and Caitlin Peluffo. He also produces Don’t Tell Madison and is a writer for Madison’s late night show Capitol Comedy hour. Ben’s comedy is filled with short stories that take you through his life from growing up Catholic in small town Wisconsin to his experiences in sports and the world of politics.
