This month's Lesering Book Club selection is Across the Deep Blue Sea: The Saga of Early Norwegian Immigrants. In this book, "award-winning historian Odd Lovoll recounts the untold story of the history of Norwegian immigration to Canada, tracing the stories and documents of emigrant families south to the Upper Midwest, primarily Wisconsin and Minnesota."The Lesering Book Club meets the second Wednesday of the month from 12 noon-1 pm, in the Viking Room. The Kringen Kafé is open 11 am-1:30 pm, so you can get lunch while you're there. Open to all!
