Les Thomas Duo Live at The CoolroomSunday 23 March, 6pm
Les Thomas is a Melbourne-born country-folk troubadour, but he isn't just a singer-songwriter. He's a sonic storyteller, an activist bard, and a lyrical luminary with a knack for connecting with audiences wherever he goes. Les follows in a long tradition using music as medicine, solidarity and sustenance. For this concert Les Thomas will be joined by Joshua Jones on resonator guitar.
As an original artist and writer, Les has been centrally involved in Melbourne's vibrant music scene for over a decade. Outside the venues, festivals and countless political events in his home state, he’s shared songs in Tamworth's bustling streets and pubs, up and down the East Coast of Australia and ventured as far afield as the community halls of Seattle. He's even made the pilgrimage to the sacred grounds of The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, where musical legends are minted.
Two acclaimed albums under his belt – Survivor’s Tale (2013), All My Friends Are Superstars (2023) – many of his songs have taken on lives of their own in the hearts of his dedicated following.
