Les Délices presents an all-Mozart program. A rare opportunity to hear a 18th century wind band perform Mozart as he would have heard it.On the project, Les Délices' music director Debra Nagy writes: "This is a total bucket-list program for me. It’s not easy (or cheap!) to assemble a woodwind team of this quality; it’s usually bigger-budget organizations that hire this many wind players so that they can perform symphonic repertoire. As a result, I’ve never had the opportunity to perform woodwind octets in a professional setting. The music is sublime and the sound of the ensemble is gorgeous – powerful yet light and transparent. This will be a truly memorable concert!”
