Violinist Leora Cohen joins pianist Matthew Schellhorn in a lunchtime recital as part of the 'Music & Wine at St Luke's' series, including works by Elgar, Bloch, Szymanowski and Tchaikovsky. Leora Cohen has established herself as a recitalist, soloist, and chamber musician of exceptional maturity and sensitivity. She earned a double First Class degree from Cambridge University and two Diplomas with Distinction from the Royal College of Music, studying with Remus Azoitei, Ani Schnarch and Alexander Gilman.

Making her concerto debut at sixteen with Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole at St John’s Smith Square in London, she has since appeared extensively throughout the UK and abroad, performing works from Baroque to contemporary repertoire. During her studies she was a member of the LGT Young Soloists, opening the 2022 Heidelberg Festival, and more recently has performed concertos with the Albion Chamber Orchestra, Piccadilly Sinfonietta, and the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble.
