About this Event
Leon's Light is a group that was formed after Leon Koehl was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy when he was just two weeks old. With his condition, and the way that it was affecting his lungs and his ability to breath on his own, the doctors said he didn't have much time left. After spending weeks in the hospital, Leon was sent home to spend as much time as possible with his Mommy and Daddy and the rest of his family. Despite everything this little guy had to put up with, he was always able to put a smile on someone's face, whether he was talking to his Mommy, reading with his Daddy, playing with his Dino, or just watching all of the action all around him, he was the light of everyone's day and you couldn't help but love every second with him. Even though Leon isn't here with us anymore, we want to make sure that his light never stops shining and even those who never had the chance to meet him, know how big of an impact this special boy had on this community.
