Chocolate Groove, Toronto’s OG Ecstatic Dance Party is coming to Kitchener Waterloo! Founded and organized by Jesse Buck aka Cacaoboy, this alcohol free, ecstatic dance party  has been running for over nine years in Toronto and has become a city hub for intentional celebration, transformative community and life changing nights of dance!

Join us on the Leo Full Moon for an epic community dance experience with a delicious and intentional cacao ceremony and grounding soundbath to close out our evening embodying the radiance, aliveness and boldness these times are asking of us all. 

Our very own EDKW organizer Nathan Cartwright and community dance maven Reva Wild will be guiding an opening connection workshop to get us into our bodies and activated in our aliveness before Tannya and Jesse introduce us to Cacao, it’s nourishment for our bodies and hearts and guide us through a ceremonial activation with this ancient and potent medicine. 

We have three amazing DJ’s for our evening with Auraboros coming back for a second time with his live percussion and powerful multi genre journey, our local house queen KASIA bringing her decades of festival dance floors to her DJ prowess and Cacaoboy headlining our night in true ecstatic dance style with signature world beats, some big jungle bass and Latin inspired house to keep us dancing into the night!

With a yogi's spirit and a DJ's soul, Jesse Buck transcends boundaries as a Community Visionary, Event Producer, Coach, Teacher, and Sound Healer. With deep love and reverence for cacao, he guides others on transformative journeys, while igniting the collective spirit and nurturing expressions of unity with a global community. 

As a DJ, Jesse artfully crafts soundscapes tailored to the occasion, infusing his sets with intention and purpose. Seamlessly traversing the realm of Global Grooves, he transports listeners to diverse states of ecstasy and bliss. Brace yourself for an auditory journey that merges deep Tribal Grooves, House beats, Sacred Basslines, Techno rhythms, and transcendental sounds, each set an invitation to explore the depths of your being.
