Please join the St. John the Beloved Women's Council on Saturday, March 22 to learn how the writings and lives of St. Teresa of Avila, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Therese of Lisieux, and St. Hildegard of Bingen can inspire you today! This Arlington Diocese Council of Catholic Women presentation is based on materials approved by the
Diocese of Arlington.
- 8:30 AM - Mass at St John the Beloved Catholic Church
- 9:15 AM - buffet opens with light appetizers and refreshments in the Eagle Hall of SJBA
- 9:30 - 11 AM: Morning prayer, presentation, Q &A, Closing remarks and prayer

Presentations led by Melanie Rigney and Liz Schiavone:
* Mel Rigney loves almost nothing better than talking and writing about faith and grace. Her latest book, Unforgettable Women of the Gospels, was the Association of
Catholic Publishers’ July 2024 book club selection. She is best known for her page-a-day devotionals, Sisterhood of Saints and Brotherhood of Saints, and as a regular
contributor to Living Faith and Women in the New Evangelization. Melanie is a member of St. Charles Borromeo parish in Arlington.
*Liz Schiavone’s passion is bringing people together to use their gifts to bring souls to the Kingdom. She is a past president and province director for the Arlington
Diocese Council of Catholic Women and a past board member of the National Council of Catholic Women. Liz also is or has been involved with the Catholic Business
Network, the Virginia Catholic Conference, and the Catholic Charities Ball. She and her husband, Angelo, are members of St. John Neumann parish in Reston.
