Join us for a morning-long Lent retreat entitled Sit, Walk, Stand: Paul’s Guide to Grace. The morning will be co-led by the Rev. Canon Nicholas Porter, Founding Director of Jerusalem Peacebuilders, and Member of the Order of St. John, the largest provider of ophthalmic health care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza; and the Rev. Susan R. Beebe, Bethesda’s own Associate Rector. This retreat is jointly presented by the Order of St. John. All are welcome.A light breakfast will be offered at 8:30 in the Parish Hall. Four sessions throughout the morning will offer time for reflection and response. The retreat concludes with Noonday Prayer in the church.
