Lens Friends Meetup with Artist & Photographer Simon Campbell.
Join us for a relaxed, in-person meetup with the incredible artist and photographer Simon Campbell. This event is perfect for anyone interested in photography, art, or creative practice — whether you’re an experienced maker or simply curious and inspired by the arts. Come along to meet Simon, hear about his creative journey, and connect with a friendly community of like-minded creatives.
During this relaxed and welcoming session, we’ll discuss how Simon’s work has evolved over time, the influence of history and community on creative practice, and the role of collaboration, care, and curiosity in meaningful creative work.
We’ll also explore the current exhibition “Sheds”, which brings together the work of Jon Poutney and Lee John Phillips, offering a shared space to reflect, discuss, and engage with photographic work.
We are grateful for support from the Arts Council of Wales Sharing Together Fund. The meet-up is also kindly supported and organised by local artist Inga Krik.
