??TOTAL NUTRITION AND SOURIS VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER IS PROUD TO BRING YOU our first ever REBRANDING and Peer-to-Peer Fundraising event!
?We hope our constituents and participants will register as fundraisers and fundraise on our behalf using the amazing resources we've uploaded in the registration dashboard!
?? Our mission with this event is to promote mental health awareness and celebrate the impact pets, service dogs, and emotional support animals have on our well-being. When they 'lend-a-paw', they help us so much and for those that need them for service, they are invaluable. See the discussion board for an explanation on why we've selected green, blue, and orange as our colors!
? We are working hard to change things at our shelter and re-build any bridges that may have been burned in the past. We want to use this event to re-establish lost connections and cultivate new relationships!
?️ We will be hosting a 5K Color Run as well as 1 Mile Walk/Jog/Roll from 10:30am to 11:15am. Our awards ceremony will be from 11:30am-12:00pm. Scroll down to view more details on time frames and more!
?We will be giving away the top three finishers for the 5K,1 Mile Walk/Jog/Roll, and Wheels Division! We will also present a 'Most Covered in Color' award for the 5K, 1 Mile, Walk/Jog/Roll, and Wheels Division! Last and most excitingly, we will present 'Best Dressed' awards to the 'hooman' and pet with the best costume! Please keep in mind the costumes will be covered in color after the run/walk/roll, so we suggest getting creative with the color WHITE! 1st place will receive a Scheels Gift Card for $150 and a Badlands Gift Card for $100. This recipient will also receive an SVAS BRANDED ‘Best Dressed’ Plaque! 2nd place will receive a Scheels Gift card for $150 and an SVAS BRANDED ‘Best Dressed’ Plaque and 3rd place will receive an an SVAS BRANDED ‘Best Dressed’ Plaque! After awards have been presented, all winners will be invited to a SPECIAL WINNER'S CIRCLE PIZZA PARTY sponsored by Jimmy's Pizza!
???We will have 2djs, 3 local food trucks, as well as a bouncy house, axe throwing, a mermaid princess, face painting, and so much more starting at noon until 4pm. For more details on our vendors and food trucks, see the event discussion board!
?️All ticket prices and awesome family bundle options will also be uploaded to the discussion board! We HIGHLY recommend the purchase of our TEAM DOG or TEAM CAT kits! They will add so much to our participant's COLOR RUN OUTFITS and are a fun way to donate additional money to help keep our animals warm, fed, and healthy!
