Explore the art, symbolism and joy in creating a Lemko Drop-Pull Pysanka Ornament - decorated Easter eggs from the Lemko Region of Ukraine. Similar but different to the traditional linear kistka method, you will be guided through all the steps of transforming a plain egg into a work of art. Using a variety of "pins", you will apply a series of melted beeswax and dyes to create traditional and individually creative patterns. When complete, the wax is melted off, revealing the vivid colors. This pysanka can then be hung as an ornament. All needed materials and supplies will be provided to create 1 Pysanka Egg. No experience necessary, all levels welcome.
Drop-pull Kits and finished work by the artist (Pysanky, Ornaments and Eggshell Jewelry) will be the available for purchase if desired.
Class runs approximately 4 hours.
The Masterclass will be taught by Basia Adrusko (https://www.pysankybybasia.com) and hosted by UNWLA Branch 10.

Fundraiser Information
Frontline soldiers and medics in Ukraine urgently require essential medical supplies. We are launching a fundraiser with a goal of $10,000 to purchase 100 first aid kits and equip these heroic soldiers.
This effort holds deep personal significance for us, as one of our own UNWLA members recently lost her brother. He was a soldier fighting for Ukraine's freedom and was killed in the line of duty.
Your participation and contribution will directly provide critical medical support to his brothers in arms and help ensure they have the best possible chance of survival.
