Visiting Artist Gajan Balan will share how he uses the SL system for both still and video work during an inspriation presentation and Q&A.
Following the presentation. you will have the oppertunity to take an SL for a "Test Drive" of your own.
This is a unique chance to for both seasoned Leica owners and newcomers to the brand to get inspired and dive deep into the Leica SL system. Whether you're a Leica enthusiast or just curious about the brand, this is your opportunity to ask questions and gain insights.
We’ll have a limited number of Leica SL3, SL3S and SL2-S kits available on a first-come, served basis—please note that registration does not guarantee a camera loan.

Gajan Balan is a photographer and director based in Toronto. His visuals are an exercise in world building that moves across portraiture, fashion, street, and documentary. Gajan’s work has garnered multiple awards, publications, and galleries but his primary focus remains on highlighting humanistic stories from around the globe. Namely those that draw inspiration from his culture and heritage. His goal is to develop compelling stories that can inspire the next generation of storytellers.
Gajan is currently working on his first feature-length documentary set to release in 2026.
