About this Event
Join us in creating a beautiful lei po'o together in this hands-on class, where you'll learn the traditional wili (to wind) style using easy-to-find grocery store bouquets.
Please bring three flower bouquets from a grocery store—Safeway offers $5 bouquet deals on Fridays, and Foodland Farms has beautiful options. We'll provide raffia, extra flowers, and leaves to complete your lei. Dressing in aloha attire is encouraged but not required, and we'll capture photos together of our stunning creations after class. Register by December 14, 2024, to enjoy a fun, creative experience with others and take home a handmade lei po'o!
About our instructor: Olena Heu, award-winning journalist and founder of Olena Heu LLC, is dedicated to sharing Hawaii’s unique culture.
