You might've noticed that Tidy Up Taunton has been a bit quiet recently, sadly I've been out of action for much of the year with a damaged knee, but the great news is that it's almost recovered and I'm able to walk without crutches again 🥳🥳So the September litter pick is going to be an exciting return to getting out there and picking up trash and hopefully going forwards the monthly schedule will resume.
We'll be meeting at the shop on Lower Middle Street at 10:30 on Sunday 29th September and heading over the road from there into Goodland Gardens, one of Taunton's beautiful parks, and seeing what we can find!
There's a possibility it might be quite well looked after so we can always either cross over the road at the top of the park into the car parks around Lidl, or we can cross the other way and clean up along Tangier Way.
As always I can provide you with a litter grabber, so all you need to do is turn up! Don't worry if you can't make the whole 90 mins, any help at all is always welcome!
