Get hands-on with robots, coding, and creative problem-solving at our Lego League Robotics Program, designed for youth ages 9–14. Kids will build, test, and refine their own LEGO creations while learning how real-world innovators think—through teamwork, design challenges, and strategic problem-solving.Presented by the Creative Economy Entrepreneurship Initiative, this program is hosted by 100 Black Men of Sacramento in partnership with Kidzapalooza.org, reflecting a shared mission to grow confident, creative young entrepreneurs and leaders. Using the internationally recognized FIRST Lego League curriculum, participants will:
Learn core STEM and coding skills through hands-on robotics.
Build teamwork, communication, and analytical thinking.
Form a community robotics team with the potential to compete in Lego League summer challenges.
Gain exposure to STEM pathways that connect to future arts, tech, and business opportunities.

When: Weekly Saturdays, February 7 – March 14, 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
Format: 6-week series with the potential to continue as a competitive Lego League team for summer tournaments.
This Lego League Robotics Program is a powerful first step in expanding STEM access for Sacramento youth, emphasizing hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world skills that prepare participants for future academic and career success in STEM fields.
