Come and join us for a cracking day of epic scale battles. Over the course of the day, you'll play 3 games of Legions Imperialis with a 2000 point army, duking it out for the top spot.There will be awards for the Podiums Placers, Best Army, and Most Sporting, including a WARMASTER TITAN for the winner, subject to 12 or more attendees!
You'll need a fully legal 2000 point force, fully painted and ready for waging war. You'll also need 2 copies of your list to show your opponent and be checked by the event team, as well as your order tokens and other gaming gubbins.
Games will be played on 60x44 boards with a variety of terrain; from dense cities, to forest worlds, variety is the spice of life after all. Scenarios will be randomly rolled on the day from the core rulebook.

We are confident that 2:30 is plenty of time to complete a game of this size, and Deployment is the biggest time sink. Turn 1 must be underway within 30 minutes of the round starting or you may be subject to penalty.
Balance Patches:
7th City is fortunate to have quite a sizeable following of LegImps players who play regularly in casual games, attend events, and play campaigns. With the game being in it's infancy, there are a few house rules in place for this event aimed to maximise player enjoyment.

Master Tactician may not be used to change the order of a unit allowing them to perform an action that they wouldn't normally be able to perform e.g. changed to a charge after exiting a drop pod.
We all know that Missile Tactical Marines are a bit strong.... You may not take more than 16 bases of them in your list.
While we know that there were Loyalists and Traitors from all legions, the balance of the rules don't really account for the more gruesome combinations in Legions Imperialis. For this event, you cannot combine Legions with the allegiance Traitoris, and Fidelitas.
Units with the Wrecker special rule may not use it (in melee) against a garrisoned building, unless you were also able to charge the garrisoned unit. e.g. Dreadnoughts advancing out of drop pods to touch garrisoned buildings destroying them without fighting the units inside.
