Last year, we gathered at Dougan Falls for our very first free portrait workshop — with flaming swords, armor, and epic fantasy energy. To celebrate the 1-year anniversary, we’re bringing it back with a brand-new concept: Gods & Goddesses
This is a free creative meet for both photographers and models to attend. Together, we’ll create cinematic, mythical portraits with the falls as our backdrop.
✨Theme: Mystical goddesses emerging from the falls — divine, otherworldly, and cinematic.
Think celestial queens, forest deities, and water spirits, styled in flowing gowns that bring the mythic energy of the Pacific Northwest alive.
👗 Wardrobe: We’re collaborating with Rent with Alina, who will provide a selection of flowing gowns and dresses for models ($10–$20 rentals, first-come, first-served). Models are also welcome to bring their own fantasy-inspired looks.
Male models can become forest kings, shadow guardians, oracles, or celestial beings.
👑Styling
- Flowing gowns (Rent with Alina will provide rentals for $10–$20, first-come, first-served).
- Statement crowns, headdresses, veils, or jewelry to enhance the goddess aesthetic.
- Dramatic makeup: metallic accents, smoky eyes, glitter, or painted runes.
- Hair: flowing waves, braids with gold thread, or windswept natural texture.
🔮 Props & Enhancements
- Flowing fabrics to trail in wind/water.
- LED candles, lanterns, or crystal spheres.
- Crowns, staffs, or floral headpieces.
- Smoke bombs (optional for photographers).
Open to both photographers and models. Let’s honor the magic of our very first meet and create something legendary.
