Explore Kentucky's most colorful whiskey characters and the larger-than-life stories that have shaped the past 200 years, all within the unique ambiance of the 21c Museum Hotel in Lexington. While enjoying four unique pours, we'll dive into fascinating (yet entirely true) tales of bandits, bootleggers, and the origins of early distilleries, and their lasting influence on Lexington's bourbon scene today. To complement the experience, savor delicious canapés and light appetizers from 21c's acclaimed Lockbox Restaurant.
All guests will receive a Glencairn glass to take home along with a few other fun surprises!

ABOUT BOURBON AND BELONGING
Queer Kentucky, the celebrated Louisville-founded nonprofit focused on uplifting LGBTQ+ lives through storytelling, culture, and action, is proud to introduce “Bourbon & Belonging: Kentucky’s Queer Bourbon Week”, the first LGBTQ+ inclusive Bourbon festival in the country. Bourbon and Belonging will take place October 2-6, 2024 all across Kentucky with 8 different cities and regions signed on. Thanks to support from Kentucky Tourism, as well as our partners Kentucky Distillers’ Association, HospitableMe, and the tourism bureaus of Northern Kentucky, Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, Winchester, Paducah, Bullitt County, and Bardstown, this will be the premiere event for LGBTQ+ consumers from Kentucky and beyond.
LOCATION
21c Museum Hotel Lexington features solo and group exhibitions that reflect the global nature of contemporary culture. From the sidewalks to the lobby, there's art all around you, from Totally in Love, by Pieke Bergman, out on our front sidewalk to Spectralline, by SOFTlab, in the entrance. Specially commissioned, site-specific works by some of the contemporary art world's most exciting artists can be found throughout our downtown Lexington contemporary art museum and boutique hotel.
