Meet at West Menards
Join us on the prairies around Lockwood in Dade County where we will have opportunities to see a variety of wintering raptors. We will also be seeking sparrows which scurry on the ground in plowed agriculture fields. Highlights could include Lapland and Smith’s Longspurs, Savannah, Song and other sparrows. Convenience store restroom stops, and exiting cars often to view birds. Bring lunch, snacks and water.
Time: 8:00 am -2:00 pm
