About this Event

Women in Business are delighted to invite you to our July event. Following the recent announcement of the general election, we are hosting a business focused event that will consider the legal and financial landscape following the outcome of the general election.

Tracy Hutty, a partner at BCA Accountants & Business Advisers who is a Chartered Certified Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Financial Planner will be summarising the implications of the new government’s manifesto and what the election result is likely to mean for businesses. Tracy has a wealth of experience and has worked in practice in the Hull area for over 20 years with owner managed businesses of varying sizes.

Caroline Neadley, a partner at Wilkin Chapman LLP specialises in employment law and she will discuss the employment law changes imminently on the horizon which will affect businesses and individuals. Following the announcement of the political parties’ manifestos, 2024 is being heralded as one that will go down in history for employment rights and this event will explore what that will look like in reality.

The event will be an open forum to discuss the outcome of the general election and ask key questions of our experts.

Attendees will enjoy a buffet lunch, along with an opportunity to network.
