Anna the Wolf, today on display in the Collected exhibit, was born at St. Louis’s Endangered Wolf Center on Earth Day 2001, the progeny of two of the last wild-born Mexican gray wolves found after the species was declared extinct in 1980. Anna gave birth to 41 Mexican gray wolf pups, changing the course of her species survival. Celebrate Anna’s legacy with a panel of experts who will discuss their roles in wolf conservation and the status of wolves in Missouri today. The program will feature a special video introduction from "National Geographic" photographer Joel Sartore. Presented in collaboration with the Endangered Wolf Center.
