Legacy & Laughter

Our organization, 2nd Chance, Inc. is organizing a fundraiser to be held on June 15, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Temple Beth- El, 3927 Bridge Road in Suffolk, VA. The dinner will be featuring a Father and Son Duet, Laughter and Legacy.

In the last twenty-eight years, 2 nd Chance has assisted over 140 young men and women, as well as adults, in attending 45 different colleges and universities. Eighty-five percent have already graduated. Our organization is non-profit organization that is based on Christian principles. Our purpose is to provide charitable relief to young men and women through supplemental funding for educational and sports related activities, which in-turn will help them improve their general standard of living and quality of life.

The organization assists students in class scheduling, improving their SAT scores, mentoring, and teaching core values which make students more well-rounded individuals.

This fundraising event will support 2 nd Chance in our efforts to continue assisting youth by getting them to different camps and cultural events. Our goal is to purchase a 25-passenger bus with an estimated cost of $175,000.
