About this Event
There is a 2 day Leg Ulcer training for Practice Nurses and those who deliver lower limb assessments within the clinical practice environment to attend on 12th & 13th November 2024. It will include Doppler practical and theory session and Compression Bandage practical and theory.
It is over 2 days instead of 1 as delegates have reported in the past that there is not enough practical time to practice the skills.
The training is delivered by Jennifer Woolfe (URGO Representative) but Learning and Development for FCHC and Tissue Viability have reviewed the content being provided and are satisfied the information is to current standards. Denise Murray (TVN) will be present on both days to support the training.
Please access the building via the MIU entrance and speak to one of the receptionists.
There is little parking at the Hospital but there is a road opposite that runs alongside with additional parking with no restrictions.
Due to cyber security, please register with your NHS email, if you don't then unfortunately your place will be cancelled.
