Kareem McCullough is a classical guitarist based right here in Leesburg, VA. Kareem has made a presence on the stage as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor. He has performed solo concerts in various places around the United States. He has performed and toured with the inaugural US Guitar Orchestra, led by Bill Kanengiser, and also served as the ensemble director for the Romero Guitar Institute, in which he conducted the famous quartet and guitar orchestra in many performances. Kareem had the great pleasure of studying with renowned guitarists like Roland Dyens, Pepe Romero, Jorge Caballero, and Marcin Dylla.
In 2020, Kareem was invited to be the guest composer for the 2020 Marlow Guitar International Youth Guitar Competition. This inspired him to explore composition even further and in 2021 he released his debut album titled, “Under Quarantine”. Kareem’s album is an intricate display of originally composed music that reflects his profound and personal journey throughout the 2020 pandemic. “Under Quarantine” is available now on all music streaming services.
Dominik R. Hyppolite, known as Dom the Composer is a Haitian-American singer-songwriter and pianist. He didn't start writing music until his junior year of high school and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. Since his first single in March 2019, Dominik has plenty of stories to tell using his thought-out lyrics and melodies. He has amassed close to 70k streams across all platforms and has over 1k on both Instagram and Tik Tok. He incorporates elements of R&B/Soul, Neo-Soul, Pop, Lo-Fi, Jazz, and even a little Choral music to create unique and ear-catching soundscapes. He's not here to make people scream and shout but to sit and listen. He draws and designs all of his album and cover art; and tells stories about mental health, love, and all of the above.
Dom the Composer's music has some rhythm, a little bit of blues, and a whole lotta soul. Starting his musical journey in the All Saints Choir of Men & Boys in Ashmont, Dom draws inspiration from these early beginnings and mixes elements from some of his current favorite artists like Bill Withers, Daniel Caesar, Moonchild, Thirdstory, Lawrence, Mac Ayres, Jacob Collier, & Lizzy McAlpine. He hopes to inspire vulnerability, joy, & self-reflection with every note and word he can. Find his music on Spotify or wherever you stream your tunes, or come experience it in person!
