Leeroy Stagger is a Roots and Americana artist and producer, who has toured the world, both on his own and with the likes of Steve Earle, Frazey Ford, The Pixies, Modest Mouse, Evan Dando, Jason Isbell, Drive By Truckers, and Josh Ritter. Leeroy Stagger is a winner of a Canadian Folk Music Award, a Western Canadian Music Award and the winner of the 105.3 The Peak’s Performance Project. Leeroy released ‘3AM Revelations’ on September 6th, 2024. The new album features a host of guest artists including Joel Plaskett, Jay Malinowski, Dennis Ellsworth, Pete Thomas, Indio Saravnja, Tim Easton, Paul Rigby, and Suzie Ungerleider to name a few. Leeroy Stagger supported Steve Earle on three sold out shows in Montreal, Halifax and Fredericton in July 2024, completed two sold out headlining tours in 2025, and performed at Stockholm Roots Festival and Rootsy Summer Festival in Sweden this past summer.

“These songs came to life during a COVID lockdown in 2021 with my old pal Indio Saravanja just before my West Coast studio was destroyed by floods. I called him to town and in 6 epic days we polished a few of my new songs, co-wrote others, and recorded and co-produced a 10 song album that was partially released on 3 AM Relevations and now on this companion record. I sang and played guitar and Indio handled all keyboards, bass and additional guitars. My friend Pete Thomas did the drum parts with us over a conference call in LA over at Boulevard Recorders , Liberace’s old studio, where part of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours was recorded, Indio signed off and left town, and I added some extra magic with some mutual friends of us both: Scott Smith - guitars on Marie and These Days. Ryland Moranz - banjo on Smile for a Stranger. Daniel Lapp - fiddle on Leaving Here. Dan Weisenburger - mandolin/vocals on Leaving Here. Evan Phillips sings on These Days. Zak Cohen mixed it all and John Greenham mastered. Leaving Here is an old Indio song and Joe Strummer (RIP) wrote The Road To Rocknroll for us all.”

Leeroy Stagger is a beloved, award-winning Canadian Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Master Storyteller. Stylistically his music moves between Folk, Roots and Rocknroll.
He is Inspired as much by John Prine and Nick Drake as he is Tom Petty and Joe Strummer. For the past twenty years, he has been touring North America and Europe, making records and gaining a strong and, more importantly, dedicated following.
His music is written through the lens of a spiritual path through addiction and recovery; he cuts a trail through the human condition in only a way that a veteran observational traveller and artist can.
Leeroy was signed to the infamous Canadian Label True North Records (Bruce Cockburn, Blackie and The Rodeo Kings) as well as industry mogul Danny Goldberg’s (Nirvana, Steve Earle, The Cranberries) Gold Lake Records.
He has supported and toured with Steve Earle, Josh Ritter, Buffy Sainte Marie, Frazey Ford, The Pixies, Modest Mouse, Los Lobos, The Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell, and more.
He is just as at home in a cafe with an audience of 50 as he is on a festival stage with an audience of 10,000.
These days Leeroy is raising kids and producing records in his studio, Neighbourhood Recorders. He is also the host of the weekly Dirty Windshields Radio hour on world-famous CKUA radio.
