The Leeds Roller Marathon is the third round of the 2024 FISS Road Race Series (RRS). .
This is the third time the Leeds endurance event has been run, held once again at the Brownlee Centre at the University of Leeds, a new, smooth track with excellent facilities, including a dedicated space for skaters and spectators and a bridge across the track offering both a unique view of the event and safe access to the facilities in the main building. This is a true endurance circuit.

Open to all skaters, including non-FISS Members and recreational/quad skaters, the event consists of two supporting races, a 100m sprint and a one lap time trial of the circuit, followed by the main event, the Leeds Marathon/ half marathon/ 10K (or alternative distance for younger skaters). Skaters are split into age categories and encouraged but not expected to participate in all three races, and are welcome to only skate in the longer race if they wish to do so. Race times will be determined by an electronic chip timing system. A digital certificate featuring the finish time for the endurance race will be issued to all participants via email. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to skaters who finish first, second and third in each age category. All other skaters will receive a participation medal for the endurance race.

This is the third opportunity to earn points towards road series winner (endurance races) and the 100m series winner. Points will be awarded to those who participate in the 100m and separate points are allocated to those who finish the full endurance races (mini 3k, pupil 8k, cadet 15k, youth 21K and juniors/adults marathon) which can be accumulated across the road races. Road races can either be entered as a standalone event or to gain points across the series.

There will be a time limit of approximately 2 and a half hours for the marathon/half marathon/10k endurance race. Skaters aged 10 years and over who may feel that they would be unable to complete the full distance in this time are welcome to enter a shorter alternative distance (10k for children, 21k and 10k for adults) distance instead. Please note that gold, silver and bronze will not be handed out for these distances, however a finishers medal and certificate will still be provided.

Helmets are a mandatory requirement for all FISS affiliated events.

Registration closes at midnight on 28th July 2024. There is no late or on the day entry for road race events.
