We are delighted to announce that we have agreed to host a Legends Match here at the John Keegan Stadium on Sunday 27th April at 3pm between Marske United former players and Leeds United former players.Managed by former Leeds United, Man United and Oldham star, Andy Richie, we're promised a very strong Leeds team including names such as, Michael Duberry, Seth Johnson, Paddy Kenny and Michael Gray. Further information and video messages from the players will be shared in the coming days and weeks.
The Marske United 'Legends' team will be managed by the former Marske manager Paul Burton (2008-2012) and former 1st Team Coach, Nick Ward. Again, we'll be sharing names of 'our legends' in the coming days and weeks.
Lots of activities will also be taking place on the day including a presentation from the charity 'Headsafe Football' https://headsafefootball.org.uk/#
to share awareness of reducing heading the ball in training, safeguarding our youth and protecting all players.
