Whether you own hundreds of rolling acres, a small family woodlot, or are simply dreaming of purchasing land in the future, the Lee County Area Forestry Association invites you to our upcoming quarterly meeting.
A forestry management plan is more than just a document; it is a roadmap for the health, productivity, and legacy of your land. We will dive into the different types of plans available and why they are vital for conservation, timber health, and long-term sustainability. Experts will be on-hand to answer any questions you might have! Join us for education and fellowship!

- When: Thursday, February 19 (WAS but weather delay- Tuesday, January 27, 2026)
- Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Where: N.C. Cooperative Extension McSwain/Lee County Center
- 2420 Tramway Rd., Sanford, NC 27330
- Cost: $10 for dinner (payable at the door ONLY)
- Payment: Cash or check (made out to Lee County Area Forestry Association) ONLY

Our doors are open to everyone! You do not need to own forest land to participate. We welcome:

- Prospective land buyers.
- Forestry professionals.
- Anyone interested in conservation and the outdoors.

Support the Association: Membership dues are only $10.00 per year. Joining helps us continue providing educational programs and field trips for the community. You can pay your annual dues and your dinner fee at the door.
